Online Chinese Lessons

Real Time Participation

In our online classes, students actively participate more than in the traditional classroom. I’m able to fully observe each student’s proficiency in Chinese. For example, in a more traditional setting, I write notes on the whiteboard with students busily taking notes and struggling to concentrate on what I said. However, with the online class, students take notes at the same time as I’m writing them on a Google Doc. This allows me to identify student mistakes straight away and correct them with instructions and guidance.

After the class, students can refer to the notes taken on the Google Doc. Using this interactive tool, you can ask questions after the lesson and leave a comment for me. I typically get back to students with a response within 24 hours.

Tailored Homework

After each lesson, I check the lesson notes and design homework based on key points that I need my students to consolidate. You’ll get another chance to revise and lay down the foundations.

Recorded Lessons

Each lesson is recorded so that students can watch it again or use it to catch up if they miss lessons, in their own time. And ask questions if need be.

Flexible Learning

The key to improving your Chinese is consistency. Most adult learners are busy with work, travel, life and holidays. With the traditional classes, it’s easy to miss a few lessons and lose momentum. With our online lessons, you can attend your lesson anywhere in the world. In 2022, it was great fun knowing that I was joining my students virtually, who travelled to many different places!
