HSK - Chinese Proficiency Test
What is HSK?
HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) is a standardised international’s Chinese language proficiency test for non-native Chinese speakers. It is the only official Chinese Government recognised Chinese proficiency test. Developed by the HSK Centre of Beijing Language and Culture University. All HSK certificates are issued by the National Commission of Chinese proficiency Test, which is under the Ministry of Education of China. HSK Test is available both online or paper based format.
What is MCT?
The Medical Chinese Test (MCT) is a specialized proficiency exam designed to assess Mandarin language skills in medical contexts. The test evaluates a candidate’s ability to understand and communicate effectively in a healthcare setting, focusing on essential language skills for medical professionals.
HSK test consists of two independent parts:
- Part I: A Written Test which includes 6 levels.
- Part II: Oral Test called HSKK are taken separately. It includes 3 levels - Elementary/ Intermediate/
Advanced; Elementary for levels 1 and 2, Intermediate for levels 3 and 4. Advanced for levels 5 and 6.
